🔒 Privacy & Confidentiality Statement
Your privacy is deeply respected here.
What you share with me in therapy is treated with the utmost confidentiality. I understand that speaking openly can feel vulnerable, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and protected.
All personal information, notes, and communication are securely stored and never shared with anyone else — unless:
You give clear, written consent for me to share something (e.g., with a GP or another professional),
I have a legal duty to disclose (e.g., risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or safeguarding concerns), or
I am legally required to do so by court order.
In such rare cases, I will always aim to discuss this with you beforehand, unless doing so would increase risk.
Your information is held securely, in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to request access to your records or to ask questions about how your data is handled at any time.
If you have any concerns or would like more information, please feel free to ask.
